   Shameless plug here, but what do you think of my contact form? It uses AJAX/Jquery that fades in a nice success message after completion as well.

   Good article, I’ve given it a couple of bookmarks.

   There are a few rules we have which can help to keep your web forms sleek, functional and noticeable.

   For example:

   Any request for unnecessary visitor details should be removed from your form layout. Simplicity is the key. If you are just asking a visitor to sign up for your newsletter, you don’t need to know their mother’s maiden name and full postal address! Focus on the essentials, and visitor’s won’t be put off filling in a few form fields…

   This is a great list of contact and web forms. There are a couple I have seen on similar blogs such as the Sophie Hardach and Christiansparrow forms.
   The contact form area is often a place on a web design where you can add some extra creativity and make your site a little more individual. However you have to make sure it still fits in with the style of the site. The majority of these contact forms have a similar layout and use the design around them to show their individual creativity. There are a few I have seen in this list that take the design of their contact form to the next level and these are Ctm-argentina, Allycreative, Lunalunerafestival contact corms, which are all impressive and well designed.

    Zoho Creator is really great tool to build web forms without writing a single line of code. It supports CAPTCHA and File Upload which are not even supported by Google Docs. If you’re looking for example of how to build web forms, have a look at this guide Zoho web forms builder.
