I’ve used JW before and I like it but I hate that watermark they placed in the newer versions that stays a few seconds at the starting of every video.
I replaced JW Player with MC Media Player and I like this one more, you can customize the colors and the size as you want. Would be nice if they could add custom logo feature.

Taking HTML5 into account, the general disdain for Flash, and not to mention Apple no longer supporting Flash for iPod, iPhone, and iPad, I feel that Flash is on its way out.
These players are great, but in a few years, I’ll bet that many computers and other devices won’t support such Flash-based video players. What happens when someone uses a device that doesn’t support Flash?
Planning for the future, I wouldn’t even bother with these players.

i am a web developer and i was assigned the task of developing a section where logged in users could watch videos and audio uploaded on site, client also requested that the users should not be able to download the videos

Does anyone know of a way that I can have a video player start automatically when a user goes to my website, as well as continue to play through as a user naviagates throughout the site?
I have a space for a video in my header and have a video thats is a promo feed of advertisements and upcoming events and want it to play through as a user goes to different pages, without the video refreshing and starting over.

Thanks to the author for publishing this collection of players for web sites.
I got a problem with videos on my website. Problem is that I don’t want other users to be able to see the location of a video file and just grab it from there. Neither I want someone to be able just to view source code of a webpage and copy-paste video player code to their own site and it will play there just fine.
Which one of players presented in the list can “hide” video file location from visitor’s eye even if he is watching source code of a webpage?
