Great list, the use of general backgrounds doesn’t seem to work as well as these personalized ones. Also the ones that take into account for the actual text field seem to be even better.

These are great I think its important to create your own twist on twitter – which can incorporate your web site design also – if you have one. Also it shows people you can BE bothered especially if your providing some form of design service(s).
